We all have a chance to explore and even sleep in the galaxy … that is, a Star Wars-themed Airbnb that’s been gaining popularity because of its realistic rooms that may take you out of this world. Plus, it’s also in Florida, where the Galaxy’s Edge is.
Jedis, who may be tired from an all-day fun at the amusement park, can take a rest in Loma Homes’ villa that can house 30 people in its luxurious and breathtaking nine bedrooms, all with a design that’s a nod to different locations in the iconic film. It just started accommodating guests in November 2019, or just a few months after the Galaxy’s Edge opened to the public.
It will set you back by at least $275 per night and about $700 other fees, but the steep price could make up for the dramatic setting you will sleep in. But it’s not just the rooms that are based on the Star Wars films, even the hallways are designed with 3D features that will make it look like you are entering the Millennium Falcon.
Fans of the movie would probably remember the passageway of the starship and walking through the hallways of the property would definitely feel like they are inside the legendary vehicle that had an important role in many Rebel Alliance victories. Doors are designed to have portholes, which is just one of the Easter eggs in the villa.
These elaborate yet hidden details were made for the fans to catch during their stay, Loma Homes managing partner Jeff Brown shared. He added that the team wanted to give the guests Instagrammable spaces that they could enjoy, too.
One of the nooks was made to look like it was one of the rooms on the ship. It has bunk beds that even have blue lights and futuristic details.
You can also live among the trees like the Wicket in an Endor-themed room, which will make you feel as if you’re really in the woods. The bed frame looks like real tree trunks and the walls are decked with dark brown trunks as well.
If you want to have a full-blown Millennium Falcon experience, you can stay in its cockpit – that is, the master bedroom. The ceiling and the walls are enough to make you feel as if you’re in space.
The opulent Cloud City is for people who prefer a pastel theme. It will literally make you feel as if you’re on cloud nine because the bed seems to be floating, thanks to the white light below the bed.
