1. Hot Dog

Released in 1979 on “In Through the Out Door” album, “Hot Dog” is just as odd as the name sounds. It was written while the rock band was preparing and rehearsing for “Out Door” while putting their own swing on Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson’s covers. This song is considered Jimmy Page’s sloppiest work of art, but many people still enjoy it, and that just serves the purpose of music!

2. Boogie With Stu

B”oogie With Stu” was a leftover from their fourth album, and it features quite a few unique elements from the likes of Ritchie Valen’s “Ooh My Head.” This song made it to the “Physical Graffiti” 1975 album because the rock band had the choice to either remove songs from their LP or throw in a filler to balance it out. The band chose the latter and had to add this track to their album.

3. Fool in the Rain

Another song from the 1979 album makes it to this list. The song itself features ordinary and average lyrics but it is the high notes, guitar solos, and screaming notes that make this song so haunting and weird yet unique.

4. Friends

“Friends” was a track from the 1970’s “Led Zeppelin III.” Jimmy Page shared some insights about how the song came alive. He explained in an interview with Melody Marker that a friend had come into the studio and was being rowdy. The person claimed that the band has done something really evil. Some people might agree when you say that this track, which is loaded with folk tunes and droning, definitely has some sinister vibes to it.

The thing about this rock band was that it always had its fans on the edge of their seat with songs that included extended drum solos or songs that went over the 10-minute marker.
